The log says &#8220;File in use&#8221;, but the file is not in use.<\/p>\n<pre>          **** Queue Monitor Warehouse for \\\\dcapp3\\test2 ****\n0000000186  (9\/25\/18 10:26:48 AM)   Message fence = 0\n0000000186  (9\/25\/18 10:26:48 AM) ****** Queue Monitor Started ******\n0000000186  (9\/25\/18 10:26:48 AM) ****** Checking ******\n0000000186  (9\/25\/18 10:26:48 AM) <strong>File in use:<\/strong> \\\\dcapp3\\test2\\P1010001_0925_1017.J402090\n0000000186  (9\/25\/18 10:26:48 AM) ****** Sleeping ******<\/pre>\n<p><strong>Solution: <\/strong>First, verify the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only one instance of the Director Toolkit is reading files from the remote location.<\/li>\n<li>The file is not locked by any other application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After verifying these conditions, open the Service Properties window for the eFORMz ServiceManager service and click the Log On tab:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7017 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1-265x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1-265x300.jpg 265w, https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1-132x150.jpg 132w, https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1-250x283.jpg 250w, https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1-159x180.jpg 159w, https:\/\/minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/FileinUse1.jpg 421w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Local System account should not be selected if the Director Toolkit is picking up files from a network share. This account is only for operations on the local system. Complete these steps to change the account the eFORMz ServiceManager uses:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click This account &gt; Browse.<\/li>\n<li>Enter Network Service and select the Network Service account. Alternatively, if your security policy permits, you can specify an account that has access to network resources.<\/li>\n<li>Click OK &gt; OK.<\/li>\n<li>Close all eFORMz windows.<\/li>\n<li>Restart the eFORMz service.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the service already authenticates as Network Service, check the file permissions.<\/p>\n<p>If the problem persists, please contact Minisoft Support at 800 682 0200.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Problem: The eFORMz Director Toolkit is configured to pick up file from a network share, but the files are not picked up.
