Adding a Remote Printer using CUPS (Common Unix Printing System)<\/h1>\n

1. Below “Printers” select Add Printer.

\n2. Select Internet Printing Protocol (ipp)
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n3. Enter the connection string: socket:\/\/\/hostname:9100<\/p>\n

4. Enter the printer name and whatever other information you want.<\/p>\n

5. For the \u201cMake\u201d select Raw.<\/p>\n

6. For the \u201cModel\u201d select Raw again then click the Add Printer button.<\/p>\n

7. For Banners, select \u201cnone\u201d for starting and ending then click the \u201cSet default options\u201d button.<\/p>\n

You have added your printer to the CUPS system.<\/strong><\/p>\n
